“Two days after New Years Day I was diagnosed with hepatitis C.  I was diagnosed HIV+ 10 years ago and now I am dual diagnosed and my liver is crushed.  I’ve always got a smile though; I’ve got 3 kids and I have to be strong for them.  When they get home from school, it’s music off.  Tv off.  Phone off.  It’s study time.  It has to be silent.  They have to work.  That’s all I care about; that those kids study.”
