Linwood: “You know that story about the woman who was shot in Washington, D.C.? What do you think about that story?”
Me: “Tell me what you think.”
Linwood: “Tell me what you think happened with that baby in that car? You tell me. There was a baby in that car that survived 29 shots to that car. You tell me what happened there. Why did that baby survive? Don’t tell people it was God because they’ll think you’re crazy. You come up with your own term- Higher Power or something. You get the truth of that story out there; you do it and that will start something. You get it out there.”
Rachel: “I sat in this exact spot this summer when I felt I had lost my creative inspiration. New York City can be difficult and intense. I came back to this spot because I feel I’ve finally gotten back what I lost. I’ve come full circle.”
